Plymouth Society of Artists exhibition held over for twelve months

Mar 30, 2020

This exhibition would have been a follow-on from the highly successful showing in the autumn of 2015 and has been some two years in planning. The current situation with the Covid-19 contagion has enforced a reappraisal of the April opening. The gallery had earlier decided all private viewing of new shows would be suspended for the foreseeable future; since which unfolding advice has meant further appraisal. As a consequence the Society, in conjunction with the Penwith Gallery, has postponed the exhibition for 2020 and arranged a re-scheduling. This is now projected to run from 29 May to 26 June 2021, with the Private View on Friday 28 May

In mitigation, for the duration of the scheduled 2020 dates the Penwith Gallery will post images of the intended hanging on its website, together with the usual details and offer an on-line presence to website visitors.

Information about the Penwith Gallery and images of the exhibition may be found here.
