As a consequence of the enforced closure of all arts venues two of the three exhibitions planned for the earlier part of the year had to be put on hold. Easing of the restrictions have allowed the annual exhibition at Artmill Gallery to open, albeit with revised conditions. As with most venues of a similar kind, visitors to the gallery are restricted in number and obliged to observe ‘normal’ conditions of safety. However, the gallery has overcome some of the restriction by extending the exhibition for a further two weeks.

From the 7 August additional works of sculpture are to be presented to run in parallel with the PSA work and to be the focus of three separate day-events hosted by Artmill. In the gallery there will be three resident artists, two of whom are Society members, drawing the 3D pieces with an opportunity for visitors to discuss interpretation and outcomes of their chosen piece.

To ensure proper safety measures there will be a booking system in place allowing for timed appointments of two persons only for each slot through the day. PSA members Richard Sunderland and Richard Allman will be working on Wednesday 12 August and Tuesday 25 August respectively. Ian Sainsbury will be in the gallery on Wednesday 19 August.
